2025/2026 DANCE TUITION & FEES

​The 2025-2026 Dance Season runs from Monday, August 18, 2025, through our Spring Performance on May 30 & 31, 2026.
​Tuition is on a graduated scale. The more classes you take, the more you save!

RECITAL FEE (What's new?)
During the 2025-2026 dance season, the recital fee will be included in the cost of tuition. 
The recital fee covers: Recital tickets, programs, props, venue rental fee, instructor salaries, and student participation awards.
 
COSTUME FEES
  • Costume fees for the spring recital are due by December 15. 
  • If your child plans to participate in the spring recital, you will receive a costume invoice by November 15.
  • Dancers will need one costume per dance routine.
  • Children's costumes cost approximately $50 per dance routine. 
  • Teen/Adult costumes may cost between $50 and $100 per dance routine. 
  • We will make every effort to keep costume costs as low as possible.
  • Costume fees are non-refundable after costumes have been ordered. 

PRIVATE LESSONS
*Private lessons must be paid in cash at the time of booking or before the lesson.

SOLOS AND DUETS
Solo Choreography and Instruction - $175
Includes:
  • Dance Choreography
  • Four 30-minute lessons
  • Edited copy of the music
  • Video of the choreography
  • Extra lessons, if needed, are $30 for 30 minutes of instruction
  • Costume cost is additional

​TUITION
  • Tuition is calculated as an annual fee divided into 9 equal monthly payments (September thru May). Tuition is the same each month regardless of the number of weeks or classes in that month.  
  • Tuition is paid to hold your dancer’s place in class.
  • If your child is absent for part of the month, you are still responsible for the full monthly tuition.
  • There are no refunds or discounts for absences regardless of reason for absence; however, make-up classes may be scheduled for dance students. (See Make-Up Policy.)
  • In the event of an unscheduled closing, a make-up class may be scheduled by the instructor.
  • The first tuition installment is due on or before September 10 of each year.   
  • A $10 late fee will be added to your monthly payment if received after the 10th of the month or if PayPal is unable to collect your tuition payment. This policy will be strictly enforced.
  • If your account becomes more than two months past due, your child will not be permitted to return to class until the balance is paid in full.
  • In the event of withdrawal, the student will be charged for classes up to the date that written notification of withdrawal is received. 

DISCOUNTS
  • A 3% discount is given if tuition is paid one year in advance or each semester in advance.  
  • Families who have multiple children currently enrolled in dance at Blue Ridge Performing Arts Academy will receive 7% off their monthly tuition. 
 
PAYMENT OPTIONS
     Option 1
  • The preferred method of payment is auto draft through PayPal or Square. You do not need a PayPal account to enroll in PayPal auto-pay.
  • Your account will be charged the same tuition rate on the same day of each month for the entire studio season (September thru May). 
  • Please contact the studio if you are interested in Auto-Pay, and we will send you a link to enroll. 
  • ​Tuition is due by the 10th of each month.
  • If payment is received after the 10th of the month, a $10 late fee will be charged.
     Option 2
  • Tuition may be paid for the entire year (9 months) in advance or each semester in advance.
  • The annual and first semester payments are due by September 1 each year.  
  • The second semester payment is due on January 1.
  • Please contact the studio if you would like to pay for the semester or the full year in advance, and we will send you an invoice. 
  • Annual and bi-annual tuition may be paid by either check or debit/credit at the studio front desk.​​
