In a fun-filled environment, our children's acting classes will help build your child's confidence, self-esteem, and verbal communication skills.

Acting 1 – This class is for 3rd-7th graders and meets once a week for 1 hour. Classes focus on teaching theatre skills in an age-appropriate, supportive, and fun environment. We will cover basic acting exercises, memorizing lines, improvisation, audition techniques, and scene work. Based on the performance level of the students, as well as their interests, we will dive as deeply as possible into these specific categories. Acting 2 – This class is for 8th-12th graders and meets once a week for 1 hour. This introduction to theatre class will be tailored to the experience and aptitude of the students. We will cover basic acting exercises, memorizing lines, improvisation, audition techniques, and scene work. Based on the performance level of the students, as well as their interests, we will dive as deeply as possible into these specific categories.
Acting Class Dress Code
Students should wear clothing that they will be comfortable moving around in. Please dress appropriately to be ready for anything. (Girls should wear shorts under skirts or dresses.)
Students may be required to dress in light costuming and will be given plenty of notice to do so. Students may also be asked to bring in their own props should the need arise and will be given notice for this as well.
Street shoes are not allowed in the dance room where classes will be held. Ballet, jazz, character shoes, or new shoes that are only worn in dance room are acceptable. – No bare feet
