Blue Ridge Performing Arts Academy loosely follows the Avery County Schools calendar; however, the studio does NOT observe all school holidays and closings. Below are studio events and closures to add to your personal calendar.

​Weather Cancellations
  • Classes will not automatically be canceled when Avery County Schools are closed.
  • In the event of inclement weather, a decision regarding studio closing will be made by 2:00 pm.
  • Announcements will be made by email, social media, and studio phone recording. 
  • If classes are canceled by the studio due to inclement weather, makeup classes may be scheduled by the instructor on a Saturday or Sunday.
