CLASSES BEGIN NEXT WEEK (JANUARY 5-9).
Now that The Nutcracker is over, we will once again combine grades for ballet. Please check the schedule to see if your child’s ballet class time has changed.
Students already enrolled in classes will be carried over to the spring semester. If you would like to make any changes to your student’s enrollment, please let us know.
Spring 2026 Class Schedule
NEW CLASS
Starting in January, we’re adding a new dynamic Strength and Conditioning class for current BRPAA students in levels 4 & 5.

Strength & Conditioning
Join this dynamic one-hour class to help dancers increase flexibility, strength, and conditioning; focusing on techniques to help further skills and reduce the risk of injury! Class meets on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 pm.
Dancers at the unlimited price bracket will not have a price increase for this class. Dancers not at the unlimited rate should add 1 hour to their tuition time.
Please register your dancer for this class before January 4th!

Since ballet was our main focus during the fall semester, we will focus on jazz and tap during the spring. Our spring recital will be a Jazz and Tap Review, including a limited number of solos and duets.
Dancers in Pre-Ballet through Level 5 will be performing to songs all about occupations.
Once music and costume selections are finalized, you will receive information on costume costs, ordering information, and due dates. Since the cost of costumes has increased so much this year, we are looking at more affordable options on Amazon.
Solo and Duet Requirements
Dancers in first grade and up may request to be considered for a Solo or Duet. These opportunities are awarded based upon skill, performance quality, dedication, commitment, and work ethic. Solos and duets are rehearsed with teachers outside of the studio schedule. These solo or duet dances provide a fantastic opportunity for dancers to perfect their technique and performance quality, while gaining immeasurable confidence and poise. Dancers must have at least two consecutive years of dance and perform a style in which they are currently enrolled.
Please keep in mind that if you would like to do a solo or duet that you must be flexible with your time. If you can not commit to coming different days/times throughout the semester, then you should not sign up. Solos and duets are done on our teachers' extra time which may change depending on their weekly availably.

WEATHER POLICY
- Classes will not automatically be canceled when Avery County Schools are closed.
- In the event of inclement weather, a decision regarding studio closing will be made by 2:00 pm.
- Announcements will be made by email, social media, and studio phone recording.
- If classes are canceled by the studio due to inclement weather, makeup classes may be scheduled by the instructor on a Saturday or Sunday.
