2026 Recital Information

​We are pleased to announce that our 6th Annual BRPAA Spring Recital, WORKING 9 TO 5, will be held on Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st, 2026 at the Williams Academy Auditorium (Crossnore School & Children’s Home), 129 Allen Circle, Crossnore, NC 28616.​
DRESS REHEARSALS
Thursday, May 28th,  Williams Academy Auditorium 
Wednesday Pre-Ballet, Liturgical, Levels 3 & 5, Contemporary 2, Solos, Duets, & Trios
Meet in dressing area at 3:30 pm or earlier. Rehearsal will begin at 4pm. 
Bring all your costumes, shoes, and accessories.
Finale will be run first, followed by Pre-Ballet.
Once Pre-Ballet is finished and excused to go home, the remainder of the rehearsal will be run in show order.

 ​​Meet in dressing area at 5:00 pm or earlier. Rehearsal will begin at 5:30pm.
Bring all your costumes, shoes, and accessories.
Finale will be run first, followed by Pre-Ballet.
Once Pre-Ballet is finished and excused to go home, the remainder of the rehearsal will be run in show order.

​We will have three shows this year, labeled A, B, and C.  
 
  • Show A - Saturday at 3pm (Tuesday Pre-Ballet, Level 1, Level 4, and Contemporary 1)
  • Show B - Saturday at 6pm (Monday Pre-Ballet, Level 2, and Level 5)
  • Show C - Sunday at 3pm (Wednesday Pre-Ballet, Level 3, Level 5, and Contemporary 2)
  • Liturgical will open all four shows.
  • Solos, duets, and trios will perform in all four shows. 
  • Ticket allowance is based on the number of dancers performing in each show. 
SHOW LINEUPS

​Participation
  • If your child is unable to perform in one or both shows, please let Miss Kelly or Mrs. Karen know as soon as possible so adjustments can be made to choreography.

Volunteers
  • Volunteers are essential to the success of the performance!
  • We will need volunteers to help guests find their seats, and class moms to stay with the class in the dressing area, line them up, and walk them to and from the stage area.
  • A volunteer sign-up sheet will be available at the recital meeting in April, so please be thinking about how you can serve. 

Recital Etiquette
  • Flash photography is not allowed in the auditorium. 
  • Please refrain from standing up and leaving the auditorium during dances. Wait until the break between dances to stand up. 
  • Food and drinks other than water is not allowed in the Williams Academy Auditorium or in the school building. 
  • MEN ARE NOT ALLOWED in the dressing area. Please make sure your family members know to wait in the lobby to greet their dancer. 

​Recital Photos 
  • Kelly's sister, Casey, will be taking photos of the dancers in their recital costumes on May 16th and/or May 17th. 
  • The studio has purchased all the lighting and equipment to assure that the photos are professional qulity.
  • All students are encouraged to attend the photo shoot, but it is your choice to purchase the pictures.
  • Unedited pictures will be available for viewing during your dancer's class time beginning on Monday, May 18th. 
  • Once pictures are selected and purchased, they will be edited and distributed asap. 

Recital Tickets
  • Tickets are not available to the general public.
  • All recital tickets are FREE to dance families.
  • Each show will receive an alloted number of reserved seats based on the number of dancers in their show. 
  • You may reserve your seats in person at the studio.

Videography
  • Unknown at this time

Class Schedule
  • We will have regular classes at the studio on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of performance week, including May 25th (Memorial Day). 
  • Our nine-month studio season concludes with the spring recital.​
